Prada Luna Rossa

INTERACTIVE RETAIL INSTALLATION — 2016

CONTEXT.

Luna Rossa is Prada’s exploration of masculine extremes — the encounter between high technology and raw materials, between precision engineering and elemental force. With the launch of Luna Rossa Carbon, Prada wanted to put the spotlight back on the entire range: Luna Rossa, Luna Rossa Sport, and Luna Rossa Carbon — three fragrances, three universes, one shared DNA of controlled intensity.

APPROACH.

The brief was simply to conceive an activation. We came back with an interactive installation connecting a physical scent stone display to an auto-stereoscopic screen — glasses-free 3D. Each of the three Luna Rossa fragrances was given its own universe of raw, violent beauty: dark minerals shattering and reforming, liquid metal tearing apart in slow motion, charcoal structures exploding into particles. The 3D animations respond in real time to the customer’s movements via Kinect tracking — you reach for a scent stone, and the screen erupts.

The visual language was built on Prada’s core tension: the precision of technology meeting the unpredictability of raw matter. Nothing polished, nothing smooth — just force, controlled at the last possible moment.

WORK.

An interactive installation with auto-stereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) screen. Three fragrance universes with real-time 3D animations triggered by body movement. Scent stone interface. Deployed internally at PUIG headquarters.
